Claim Procedures

 

Marine Cargo

In the event of an occurrence which is likely to give rise to a claim under this policy, the following steps are to be taken :

  1. Take all necessary action to minimize any further loss.
  2. Advise your insurance company immediately by telex or telephone giving any details ( however brief ) that are available.
  3. Complete a report of the incident ( chronological report ) which may be handed to the insurance adjusters or insurance company at a later date.
  4. Do not sign clean receipt upon finding damages on cargo during taking delivery
  5. To arrange joint survey with carrier or other parties responsible to the loss and obtain a copy if necessary.
  6. To lodge a notice of claim against carrier or other parties responsible to the loss and obtain approval receipt from them of such letter.
  7. If the cargo is missing ex. due to theft, file a complaint to nearest police station.
  8. Complete necessary claim forms and supply all documentation as required.
Property All Risks (Business Interuption)

In the event of an occurrence which is likely to give rise to a claim under this policy, the following steps are to be taken :

  1. Take all necessary action to minimize any further loss or damage ( including minimizing the interruption to the business ).
  2. Advise your insurance company immediately by telex or telephone giving any details ( however brief ) that are available.
  3. Complete a report of the incident which may be handed to the insurance adjusters or insurance company at a later date.
  4. Do not dispose of any damaged material without authority from insurance adjuster or insurers. Underwriters or their representatives must be allowed the opportunity to inspect loss or damage before any repairs or alterations are effected.
  5. Complete the necessary claim forms and supply all repair invoices and documentation as required.
Burglary / Theft
  1. Report any incident to the Police as soon as possible after discovery.
  2. If the premises have been damaged during entry, immediate action should be taken to make them safe.
  3. Steps should be taken to discover the guilty person (s) and an inventory of the property lost or damaged should be taken.
Machinery Breakdown

The following procedures should be followed in circumstances likely to give rise to a claim under your Machinery Breakdown / Business Interruption insurance program.

It is essential that you do everything to comply with these requirements and the requirements of loss adjusters ( if appointed ) so that your claims may be settled promptly.

Personal Accident

The following procedures should be followed in circumstances likely to give rise to a claim under Personal Accident policy.

It is essential that you do everything to comply with these requirements and the requirements of the loss adjusters ( if appointed ) so that your claims may be settled promptly.

In the event of an occurrence which is likely to give rise to a claim under this policy, the following steps are to be taken :

  1. Take all necessary action to minimize any further loss.
  2. Advise your insurance company immediately by telex or telephone giving any details ( however brief ) that are available.
  3. Complete a report of the incident ( chronological report ) which may be handed to the insurance adjusters or insurance company at a later date.
  4. To obtain medical statement from the Doctor about the diagnose of the victim.
  5. Complete the necessary claim forms and supply all documentation as required.
Erection All Risks

The following procedures should be followed in circumstances likely to give rise to a claim under your Erection All Risk insurance program.

It is essential that you do everything to comply with these requirements and the requirements of loss adjusters ( if appointed ) so that your claims may be settled promptly.

It is essential that you do everything to comply with these requirements and the requirements of the loss adjusters ( if appointed ) so that your claims may be settled promptly.

In the event of an occurrence which is likely to give rise to a claim under this policy, the following steps are to be taken :

  1. Take all necessary action to minimize any further loss or damage.
  2. Advise your insurance company immediately (within 72 hours) by telex or telephone giving any details ( however brief ) that are available.
  3. Please inform us the following information:
    • Your Insurance Policy Number
    • The Name stated in the Insurance Policy
  4. Fill in our Automobile Claim Form and providing information regarding:
    • Automobile Insurance Policy and Vehicle Information.
    • The Accident's Chronologies
    • The Accident's Sketches
  5. Please provide the following documents:
    • Copy of Vehicle Registration (STNK)
    • Copy of Driver's Driving License (SIM)
    • Copy of The Automobile Insurance Policy
  6. Claims by Third Parties against you must be notified immediately. Under no circumstances should you admit liability. Upon receipt of correspondence relating to liability, forward it immediately to your insurance company. If any criminal persecution is filed against you notice must be forwarded to your insurance company within 72 hours.
  7. Complete a report of the incident which may be handed to the insurance adjusters or insurance company at a later date.
  8. Insurers or their representatives must be allowed the opportunity to inspect loss or damage before any repairs or alterations are effected.
  9. Complete the necessary claim forms and supply all repair invoices and documentation as required.
